Quest has been running auctions since 1980. Quest Philatelic Ltd has been a registered company under current ownership of Alec & Martha Webster since 2002.  Quest Philatelic auctions are what are traditionally called postal sales. That means that instead of having a room full of purchasers, bids are sent by post, phone or most commonly nowadays, email before the sale starts. Many buyers prefer that as it means they do not have to take the time and transport costs to attend the sale. We are independent and not connected with any other company or auction house. Ours is a true vendor auction - there are more than 60 vendors in every sale. We aim to have something for everyone and hope you find lots of interesting lots.

How we collect and use Personal Data

The Data Controller is Quest Philatelic Ltd of 50 Worcester Rd SUTTON SM2 6QB

We are a postal stamp-auction business. We collect personal data (such as names, addresses, emails and phone numbers) when you contact us to request a catalogue, ask for more information about a lot, make a bid or to ask us to include your stamps in our auctions. We use personal data to perform our side of the contract with you (accepting your bids, including your stamps in our auctions, collecting and making payments) and to send you a copy of the catalogue before an auction. We keep records as required for legal reasons and in accordance with HMRC requirements and timeframes.

IF YOU NO LONGER WISH TO RECEIVE CATALOGUES PLEASE CONTACT US

If you bid we add your name to our mailing list and store your name and address. Please contact us if you no longer wish to be on our mailing list.

European Economic Area (EEA)

If you reside outside the EEA we transfer your personal data outside the EEA only in order to send you a catalogue or to fulfil our side of any contract with you 

Security

We take our responsibility seriously for keeping your personal data secure. We do not recommend sending payment details by email. We are certified by PSCI each year
